Our second stay at the inn was as memorable as the first. Beautiful accommodations and welcoming public rooms. Very home like feeling set into the most spectacular area of Minnesota. The woods, the water and the history of the area are worth the drive to the Soudan area.

Wonderful hostess, Great Location, Terrific destination

The Inn has such an interesting history and has been turned in
to a great Bed and Breakfast with there is plenty of room for groups and events. I'd wanted to visit Tower/Soudan and Ely for such a long time. The location was perfect! Mary is a wonderful hostess, you feel like family. During our stay we had a fabulous time at Lake Vermillion, Soudan Underground Mine Tour, National Bear Center, International Wolf Center, Kawishiwi Falls and Hiking Trail. Next time we will need to bring our bikes to ride the Mesabi Trail. Thanks for a great comfortable place to stay - Home away from home.

I had a wonderful stay in September along with a group of college friends. Your Inn was delightful, charming and very welcoming.
The ambiance was perfect for our Book Club Get Away and the breakfasts, fire pit, rec room, all added to our stay.

We look forward to returning.

What a great place to stay!! Tom and Toni were great! Always friendly and helpful in any way. The Inn is beautiful, clean and full of history. Tom and Toni are the nicest people you will ever meet. You immediately felt right at home like visiting old friends. We met many great people during our brief stay. Learning alot about the history of the area as well as very enjoyable conversations on many topics. This was our first trip to the Inn and can't wait to go back. Such a great cozy place to stay, unwind and relax with many
outdoor activites to enjoy or just sit and relax. I would highly recommend this place for a local gathering, workshop, quilt retreat, family reunion or just a relaxing B&B stay. Thanks Tom and Toni for a terrific and fun stay! (Extended family too! LOL)

There is a gracious spirit to the Inn that is at once welcoming and relaxing. The historic building, northern MN woods and lakes, friendly people in local restaurants and the quaint shops in Tower & Ely make this a perfect spot to unwind. Loved our stay and will return!

Never expected it to be so unique, and to think my family members back in the old days were born here before it became a inn is amazing the feeling of life is everywhere! Home, and warm cozy!

This is a wonderful new Bed and Breakfast located in the Historic Soudan Hospital, fully renovated and very welcoming to all guests. We have utilized the Inn for parties and rooms since its opened and have not been disappointed. I recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the area, in need of a meeting place, or looking for a Retreat center. Rates are very reasonable, service and accommodations are top notch, and the location is perfect for all season activities in the north woods.

This was one of my top airbnb experiences. The place itself is very clean, tasteful, well maintained, comfortable, and spacious-yet-cozy. The location is very accessible to the main roads and highways you would want to take, and it's even within walking distance of a nice park and lake. To top it off, the hosts are incredibly friendly, worldly, interesting, and helpful. My friend and I visited Soudan on a research trip about iron and mining (as well as for fun) and Joe proved to be an invaluable resource in finding the local hotspots, and we quickly became friends and had fantastic conversations about a wide range of topics. I hope to return some day.

We stayed at your lovely B&B - The Vermilion Park Inn for our MN/FL reunion. This was our third year and each year the Inn was more beautiful then the year before. So many lovely features have been added to the Inn. Our Host and Hostess were very kind and gracious people. We are looking forward to another reunion next summer.

Our room was even lovelier than in the photos, the host gave me a nice little tour of the place, and even made sure we had kindling wood, for our bonfire. We didn't try out the piano, but did enjoying lounging and playing games, in the communal family room.

We enjoyed our stay at this historic house in the quiet town of Soudan, MN. The hosts went above what was expected and had breakfast out early for our group on the day of the Ely Half Marathon, which we really appreciated. This area offers hiking and biking trails, mine tours, bear and wolf centers, as well as shopping in nearby towns.

Nice place near Lake Vermilion if you're looking to stay for a few nights. Everyone was friendly and it was perfect for us while we were in town for a couple of days. Some rooms have a private bath/shower and others are shared. If you have a preference make sure to ask prior to booking a room. Make sure to go visit the Soudan Mine right down the street while you're there.

The inn is a large cozy home with a variety of room styles as well as common areas. It would be great for a family group. Great paved hiking and biking trails are across the street. Bed was very comfortable. Private bath was very clean with great lighting and plenty of water pressure in the shower.

What a lovely and charming inn this is! I stayed in the Celtic room, soft yellow with a comfy bed, full channel access to cable and movies, wifi, and private bath. It was just perfect. Your Inn is beautifully restored and so comfortable, and your staff is so welcoming. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in the Tower/Soudan/Ely area. 😄

Lovely place, very clean, and spacious. They lent us kayaks and showed us where to go on the lake. Very sweet people. However, call ahead to be sure the details of your reservation are correct or if you plan to make any changes.
